J.M. Stanley of Lakeview Dies July 8
Pioneer Hall County Resident Will Be Interred Today
Another Hall County pioneer resident was taken from the rapidly thinning ranks Wednesday night of this week, with the death of Jessie M. Stanley of Lakeview.
Mrs. Stanley, 54 years of age, died at his farm home five miles southwest of Lakeview Wednesday night, July 8, at 11 o'clock following a heart attack.
Funeral services for Mr. Stanley are to be conducted from the First Methodist Church of Lakeview Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with Rev. G.B. Gatain, pastor, conducting. Interment will be in the Union Hill Cemetery with King's Mortuary of Memphis directing.
Mr. Stanley was born October 13, 1881, in Johnson County, Texas. He moved with his parents to Hall County almost 30 years ago, and he has been a resident of this county ever since.
Immediate survivors are the wife, Mrs. J.M. Stanley, four sons and one daughter, all of Lakeview; his mother; and two brothers, Littlefield.
