County Pioneer W.B. Moore Dies

W.B. Moore, 80-year-olf retired farmer, died at his home in Lakeview Monday night.

Wednesday afternoon at the First [sic] Wednesday afternoon at the First Methodist Church in Lakeview. Rev. Ollie Apple, Rev. O.G. Evans and Rev. John Wood conducted services.

Moore moved to Hall County in 1915. He was a member of the Lakeview First Methodist Church and had been a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge for more than 50 years.

He was born in Wilson County, Tennessee, in 1870.

He is survived by his wife, six sons: Jack, of Collinsville, Oscar of Hedley, Harvey of Lubbock, Frank, Willard and David, all of Dodson; three daughters, Mrs. Chester Wadley, of Dodson, Mrs. W.S. Pollard of Sunray and Miss Nellie Moore of Dodson; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grand children.

Pall bearers were Odd Fellows Lodge member of Memphis, Lakeview and Hollis. Flower bearers were Rebekah Lodge members of Hollis.

Funeral arrangement were conducted by Murphy-Spicer.
