Mrs. A.S. Bevers, resident of Hall County for 50 years, died in a Memphis hospital Monday at the age of 69 years.

Services were conducted from the First Baptist Church in Lakeview on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. H.W. Hill and Rev. L.J. Helm officiating. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Lakeview under the direction of Spicer Funeral Home.

The former Miss Alice Cleo Ioor was born March 26, 1881, in Coryell County, Texas. She was united in marriage to A.S. Bevers at Lakeview on Sept. 15, 1919. The couple had made thier home there since that time.

Mrs. Bevers was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, A.S. Bevers of Lakeview; two sons, Robert Zane Bevers of Midland and Berle Bevers of Amarillo; three stepsons, Ira Bevers of Anthony, Buford Bevers, Springfield, Mo., and Roy K. Bevers, El Paso; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Maude Williams, of Fort Worth and Mrs. Odessa Jones of Amarillo.

Pall bearers were Joe , J.B. Duren, M.A. Wisy, Gowdy, Zeb Sanders and Blewer.
