The marriage of Athol V. Cotton and Miss Florence Burkhalter was solemnized at 11 o'clock this morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl E. Strickler of west Washington street, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. W.E. Carroll, pastor of the First Christian church. They will make their home at Bethlehem, Pa., were the bridegroom is employed as a coke oven heater. The home of the bride was formerly at Lafayette. She is a friend of Miss Irene Murphy, of Hendricks township, and Miss Murphy was a guest at the wedding and the wedding dinner, which was served at the Strickler home.
