Although the history of the Buell family by Albert Welles lists Elizabeth Collins as the wife of William Buell, both Lebanon Inscriptions (New Eng. Reg. Vol. 74) and The American Genealogist v. 23 pg 190, report that she was born in Hartford CT to Joseph Collier. Her mother was Elizabeth (Sanford) Collier.
She married Ensign William Buell and had children Samuel, William, Timothy, Abel, Elizabeth, Deborah and Mehitable. Per the Hale collection, she was buried in Old cemetery, Lebanon.

Here Lies ye Body of Mrs. Elisabeth Buel wife of Mr. Wm. Buel, Daughter of Mr. Joseph Collier of Hartford. A Pious Godly ..?.. fell asleep in Jesus Dec 7., 1729 Aged 54 years.
