James L. Grable Dies at Agency

James Lewis Grable, 63-year-old retired blacksmith, died yesterday afternoon at his home in Agency at the age of 63. Born in Dearborn, he had lived in Agency 40 years. He was a member of the Agency Christian Church and a past noble grand of Odd Fellows Lodge No. 505.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie Grable of the home; five sons, Lee, George L., Billie, Joy Ellis and Jimmie Grable, all of Agency; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Wolfe, Mrs. Maude Forney and Mrs. Gloria Pierce, all of St. Joseph; two brothers, John and Carl Grable, both of Agency; a sister, Mrs. A. B. McMillian, St. Joseph, and 20 grandchildren.

The body is at the Heaton-Bowman mortuary.

Services for James Lewis (Pat) Grable, 63, will be tomorrow at 2 at the Agency Christian Church, the Rev. Floyd B. Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Agency Cemetery. The body will be removed to the church at noon from Heaton-Bowman's.
