Kayla Jo Marie Borgerson age 17, of Lakeville was called to Heaven on Thursday, November 6, 2008 after an automobile accident. Kayla Jo was born May 8, 1991 in Burnsville, MN to Keith and Susan Borgenson. She attended Vista View Elementary, Lakeview Elementary, Kenwood Trail Jr. High School and Lakeville South High School. Her hobbies included dancing, drawing, doing crafts, and listening to music. She enjoyed traveling, including a band trip to London and family trips to Disney World, Niagara Falls, Hawaii, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, a Mexican Cruise, Boston, Chicago and San Diego. She is survived by her loving parents Keith and Susan; brother Kyle (Fiancee Kaylee McClaflin) and sister Katie; grandparents: Alfred Jr. and Barbara Borgerson of Bellingham, MN and Pat & Jeanette Minahan of Ortenville, MN; uncle and aunts: Raynette (Mike) Schulte, Bonnie Jo (Mark) Begalsk, Russell (Lisa) Minahan, Curtis (Mildred) Borgerson, Coralie (Craig) Meyer, Lori (Jason) McPherson, and many cousins and friends. Kayla Jo is preceded in death by her cousin and name sake, Kendra Jo Marie Brotzel. Mass of Christian Burial 3:30 PM Tuesday November 11, 2008 at All Saints Catholic Church 19795 Holyoke Ave. Lakeville, with visitation Monday 11/10/08 from 4-8 and 1 hr prior to Mass, ALL AT THE CHURCH. Private interment at the All Saints Cemetery in Lakeville. Kayla Jo was a caring and giving person. She continued that in death through the gift of organ/tissue donation. A lite meal will follow the Mass
