Nola Barber Berghout was born February 10, 1916 in Syracuse, Davis County, Utah to James Arthur Barber and Luella Victoria Casper Barber. Nola married Leonard N. Berghout on February 26, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She had been a teacher in the Weber County School District.
She was active in various auxiliaries of the LDS Church and was currently a member of the North Ogden, 9th ward. She was an officiator in the Ogden Temple. Nola and Leonard had five children.
Nola enjoyed making quilts and quilting them for her family.
