Ethel Evelyn Taylor was the 4th of 14 children born to Flora Mame Fredendoll and William Fletcher Taylor of Ida County, Iowa.
Ethel married ‘Neal' Poston October 14, 1913 at her parents home in Plymouth County, IA. The couple had four children: William Kenneth, Dorothy Virginia, Neal, Jr. and Karen Ann. The family lived in Beresford, SD and Sioux City, Iowa.
Ethel was president of the PTA and president of the Ladies Aid of Glendale Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening as well as embroidery and sewing.
