Mrs. Malinda Trabert, 89, former longtime resident of Williamsburg, died Saturday in Topeka where she had lived since 1934. She was in failing health for some time. She was born May 12, 1869, in Haustown, Ia., and was the widow of George Trabert whom she was married in Ottawa in 1890. She was a member of West Side Christian Church, Topeka. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ralph Oliver, Topeka; Mrs. E.J. Wightman, Ottawa; and Mrs. Fred Eiler, Bartlesville, Okla.; five grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Robert McComas and Mrs. Dollie Darrah, Kansas City. Funeral services will be held at Williamsburg Methodist Church tomorrow at 2 p.m. with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Williamsburg.” (The Ottawa Herald, Ottawa, KS. 23 Feb 1859)
