OBITUARY :
WARREN SAMUEL HALTERMAN, 83, of Harrisonburg, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
Mr. Halterman was born Jan. 27, 1925, in Rockingham County, and was the son of the late Addison and Susan Ritchie Halterman.
He was the owner and operator of Halterman Limousine Service and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
On Dec. 31, 1974, he married Ruby Lee Craig, who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the last survivor of his immediate family.
The Rev. James Kite will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Saturday at Johnson Funeral Service in Grottoes. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home or at the home of Ruth Mitchell, 7049 Cross Keys Road in Mount Crawford.
