Mrs Braddy died at her home Sunday morning. She had been in failing health for several months.
Born Ada Clare Hayes on June 29, 1899 in Tama County, she was the daughter of Aldus and Flora Ethel Adkins Hayes.
When she was young the family moved to Marshalltown and she received her education in the Marshalltown Public Schools.
She was married to F Raymond Strohmeyer December 27, 1917, and to this union one daughter was born, Mrs Flora Louise Flotz, of St Croix Falls, Wisconsin.
She later married Ernest Wohlert November 11, 1927 and he preceded her in death.
On March 2, 1959 she was married to Ernest Braddy of State Center and they made their home in the State Center community.
Mrs Braddy was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church.
Surviving besides her husband are her daughter, Mrs Voltz, a stepson Vernon Braddy and State Center and four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a step grandson, and two step great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Glen Hayes of Los Angeles, California, Earl Hayes of Dixon, California, Mrs Bertha Reed of LaHabra, California and Mrs Ellen Hitchings, of Nevada.
