VANCE ARVETTIE "Betty" GOOCH ADAIR, 85, of Somerville, Tenn., homemaker and former employee of Lewis Bar-B-Q, died Thursday of heart failure at National Healthcare Center in Somerville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home in Somerville with burial in Forty-five Cemetery in Moscow, Tenn. She was a member of Forty-five Baptist Church. Mrs. Adair, the widow of Herbert Adair, leaves two daughters, Faye McBroom of Counce, Tenn., and Lavern Fowler of Arlington; two sisters, Ludella Burke of Bolivar, Tenn., and Lillie Lindsey of Ripley, Miss.; a brother, Paul Gooch of Ripley, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
