Monroe Mirror Sarah Ann Cadwallader was born in Highland Co., Ohio, Sept 18, 1839, and came with her parents to Marion Co., Iowa, April 1872, where she remained until her death, Feb., 15, 1920. She was a member of a family of nine children, four boys, and five girls. All have departed this life before her except one brother, W.H., of Monroe.
She leaves other relatives and a host of friends to mourn her loss. She was united with the M.E. Church when a young woman, where she has remained strong in the faith of Christ.
The funeral was at the house on Tuesday, February 17th. After a short service conducted by Mr. Waddle, the remains were laid to rest beside her father, mother, and two sisters, in the Dunreath cemetery.
