A graveside service was held Jan. 14 in Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Moore officiating.

Mr. Broy was born Feb. 12, 1921, in Clarke County, the son of the late John W. and Nellie Stickles Broy. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ellen Huff Broy; one daughter, Fay Schumate of Front Royal; three sons, Carroll "Snooky" Broy of Berryville, Roy Lee Broy at home and David Broy of Bluemont; five sisters, Velma Deavers, Louise Duke, Dorothy Grubbs of Berryville. Anna Mallory of Front Royal and Frances Thompson of Charles Town, W.Va.; one brother, James Howard Broy of Berryville; and four grandchildren.
