George Washington Dawdy, 45, injured a week ago on reconstruction work at the Fibreboard Inc. plant here a week ago, succumbed to his injury's early Sunday morning. He was a member of the crew of repair men employed by the company.
Born in Kansas, March 3, 1895, the late Mr. Dawdy came to Clallam county eight years ago and was first employed at Carlsborg, later working as a millwright at the Rayonier plant here and three months ago taking employment with the Fibreboard crew.
Mr. Dawby was married to Martha Wurtz here August 1, 1938. He leave his widow and two daughters by a previous marriage, Mrs. Allen Crawley, Bend Oregon and Margie Dawdy, Rose Lodge, Oregon and four step-children.
