She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, D.B. ''Doc'' Oliphant; her father and mother; sister, Nora B. Randall, of Ardmore, Oklahoma; brothers, Emil ''Pete'' Bohls, Robert Bohls and Edward Bohls, all of Austin.
Nettie was a long time resident of South Austin. She was also a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she was active for many years in the Ladies Circle. Nettie, along with her husband, joyfully dedicated many volunteer hours to the American Association of Retired Persons, as well.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 1998, in the Boggy Creek Masonic Cemetery, on Circle S. Road, with The Reverend Charles Moore officiating.
