Mrs Cannon was born September 27, 1928 in Laurens, SC the daughter of the late Bessie Mae and T.V. Stevens.
She was the wife of James Edward Cannon, a member of Una First Free Will Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
In addition to her husband she is survived by sons, David Cannon of Greer, Harold Cannon of Greer, Tim Cannon (Krystal) of Woodruff, James William Cannon (Shirley) of Union, Robert Cannon (Carolyn) of Spartanburg, Mickey Cannon of Sumter, brother, Earl Stevens of Laurens, 23 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 9 great, great grandchildren.
The family received friends Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Graveside services were held at Heritage Memorial Gardens at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 8, 2014 conducted by Rev Kenneth Cash.
