GREAT BEND - The Rev. Glen Gordon Dayton, 87, died Dec. 20, 2009, at Cherry Village Nursing Home. He was born March 22, 1922, to Lloyd and Margaret Baker Dayton.
On Aug. 18, 1946, he married Carmen Addis. She preceded him in death. Survivors include: two sons, Norman L., Hoisington, and Bill, Great Bend; two daughters, Lily Mehl, Bristol, Va., and Laura Ragon, Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Nazarene Church, Great Bend. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present 6 to 7 p.m. at Charter Funerals, Great Bend. Burial in Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons. Memorials to the Mid America Nazarene University Scholarship Fund.
