David D. Carnine took his life by hanging on Sabbath. His children had gone to town to Sabbath-school and his wife on looking into the barn saw him hanging by the neck dead. Friends were called and he was kindly removed and carried to the house. His wife and children are almost heart-broken with grief, as he was an indulgent father and a provident husband. A letter of advice to his children was found near him. A few years ago he was affected with sunstroke and this summer he was again attacked by it and continued to suffer from it; and it is supposed to be the cause of his death.
