Services were held in Tamarac on June 15 for Mr. Kaplan and on June 22 for Mrs. Kaplan. Memorial services were held at the home of their son Arnold Kaplan of Denver.
Mr. Kaplan was born in Newark, NJ, and Mrs. Kaplan was born in Odessa, Russia.
Married on July 2, 1938, in Newark, they were together for almost 70 years.
Mr. Kaplan was a manager for Anheuser-Busch in Newark.
Mrs. Kaplan was a homemaker and sold women's clothing in specialty women's stores in New Jersey.
Mr. and Mrs. Kaplan are survived by their two children Arnold (Linda Reinstein) Kaplan and Enith Tepper; four grandchildren Marc (Margo) Tepper, Scott (Shari) Tepper and Joshua and Sarah Kaplan; and great grandchildren Rachel, Jessica and Ari Tepper.
