A. E. HORTON DIES AT MACY: Final Services Monday At Christian Church There: Fulton, March 5 - Final rites will be held Monday at 2 o'clock in the Macy Christian church for Addison E. Horton, 86, life-time farmer in the Macy community. His death occurred at 6:15 a.m. Saturday at his home a mile west of Macy, following a week's illness. The body will be taken Sunday morning from the Ditmire funeral home here to the residence where friends may call. Following services Monday, burial will be in Plainview cemetery at Macy. Born in Miami county October 1, he was the son of Grimes and Harriet Fenimore Horton. He was a member of the Macy Christian church. He first married Francena Burkett who preceded him in death. On January 18, 1905, he married Jennie Pancake who survives. Also surviving are two sons and two daughters: Ora, Peru; John, Niles, Mich.; Vernie Fry, Fulton; Harriett Crawford, Sturgis, Mich.; two step-daughters, Nora Rose, Marion, Ind.; Fern Pancake, Peru. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two half-sisters: Myrtle Bacon, Akron, Ind.; Lela Alspach, Rochester; one step-sister, Laura Smith, Macy. Three children preceded him in death.
