Lillian Coppage

Lillian Coppage, 92, of Hollis, OK passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009 at Harmon Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be 3:30 P.M. Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the Church of Christ in Hollis, OK with Minister Bruce Sexton and Dr. Mike Henderson officiating. Interment will be at the Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis, OK.
Lillian Robinson was born July 21, 1917, to William and Tallie (Riggs) Robinson in Gould. She graduated from Hollis High School. She married Alton Coppage on Dec. 29, 1937, in Guthrie, TX.
She worked as a banker at First State Bank and Stockman's Bank in Gould, retiring after 47 years. She is a member of the Church of Christ in Hollis. She loved tennis and watching football on TV. Her life was an inspiration to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include: her son, Steve Coppage of Oklahoma City; her daughter, Patti Goolsby and her husband Dennis of Hollis; one sister, Lorene Mitchell of Searcy, AK; one granddaughter, Trish Harris and her husband Carlton of Norman; one grandson, Brad Goolsby of Norman; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, Alton "Cop" Coppage; her parents, William and Tallie Robinson; and one brother, Ray Robinson.
