Miss Minnie was a member of the Tuscarora Presbyterian Church and active in the Christian Endeavor.

She was past president of the WV Farm Women's Council and past president and charter member of the Tuscarora Farm Women's Club. She helped form the Tuscarora Indian's 4-H Club.

A Master Farm Home Maker, Miss Minnie was a former member of the Shenandoah Valley Chapter DAR and for more than 20 years a member of the Berkeley County Chapter United Daughters of the Confederacy.
