Robert Richard Bireline, 64, of Danville died at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Oct. 28, 1945 in Danville to Robert Allen and Helen May Shelato Bireline. He married Karen Jane Wright on Dec. 30, 1966 in Danville. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert Bruce Bireline and Christopher Michael Bireline; five grandchildren, Robert Taylor Bireline, Katelyn Taylor Bireline, Matthew Allen Bireline, Justin Trevor Bireline and Alexis Kae Bireline; his mother, Helen (William) Pentecost; two sisters, Susan (Bill) Kinney and Patricia (Mark) Paris and three brothers-in-law, Fred, Gene and Dennis Wright.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He served in the Illinois National Guard for six years.
