Gerald Adams, aged 79, died last night at his home here, following abrief illness of a complication of diseases. His wife passed away in1931 Surviving are three sons, Charles Adams of Patton, Walter and BabeAdams, both of St. Augustine, and the following brothers and sisters:William and Otis Adams both of Johnstown; Frank Adams of Atlanta, GA;Mrs. Mary Morris of Wilkinsburg; Mrs. Jane Sharbaugh of Johnstown andMrs. Nell Taylor of Youngstown, OH. He also leaves 27 grandchildren.Funeral services will be conducted at 9 o'clock Monday morning at the St.Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will be in the church cemeteryunder the direction of Walter A. Gibbons, Ashville mortician.
