Benjamin W Bullington Funeral services for Benjamin Wade Bullington will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Monson Funeral Home, with burial in Hall Cemetery, Blue Mound. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today Mr. Bullington, 85, Taylorville, father of Fay M. Bullington, 725 S. Maffit St., died at 9:30 p.m. Friday of a heart attack on July 19. He was born Sept. 14, 1877 in Fayette County, son of John and Ailsa Bullington. Mr. Bulliington taught school in Macon and Christian counties until 1911. From 1911 to 1941 he farmed in Christian County before retiring. He was a former Sunday school superintendent of the Blue Mound Christian Church, of which he was a member. Mr. Bullington also belonged to the Ansar Shrine, Springfield Consistory and Blue Mound Masonic Lodge No.682. Mr. Bullington married Lenora Markwell Sept. 12, 1901, in Blue Mound. She died in 1950. Survivors include his son; one sister, Mrs. Flora Tedrick of Vandalia; brothers, Josiah Bullington of Hillsboro; Dr.Cleve Bullington of Los Angeles, Calif.,four grand children and 10 great-grandchildren. Seven brothers and one daughter, Norma, preceded him in death.
