Albert Capobianco, 88, a longtime resident of Norwood, NJ, on Friday, December 18, 2009. Beloved husband of Concetta (nee Scaglione) for 65 years. Adoring father of Sharon and her husband James McGuire of Haworth, NJ. Loving Grandfather of Dwayne McGuire and his wife Christi and Scott McGuire. Dearest great-grandfather of Cati and Ryan. Also survived by one brother, Ernest of Pearl River. Mr Capobianco was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a supervisor for Federal Paper Board Co. in Piermont until retiring in 1985 when he became a dedicated chief school crossing guard in Haworth for another 19 years. Mr Capobianco was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Norwood. He loved working with wood and creating many beautiful things. Visiting hours are Monday 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Anthony R. Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale (845-3592323) with interment to follow in Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill.
