MAJORS, SHIRLEY ANN age 65 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2006 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
Preceded in death by: husband, Robert C. Majors; daughters, Terri Kirkland and Debra Kennedy; parents, Luther and Juanita Weaver; brothers, Glenn and Don Weaver; sister, Dorothy Farrow.
She leaves behind: her daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Greg Ramsey and Robin and Kevin Cox; grandchildren, Jimmy, Jason, Jordan, Gregory, Lauren, and Jacob; sister, Irene Settles; brothers, Luther and Gene Weaver; former husband and life long friend, Charles H. Coward; special nieces and nephews and many special friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday at Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 8 pm. Rev. Tim Harvey officiating. Family and friends will meet at Oak Ridge Memorial Park at 10:45 am Thursday for an 11 am graveside service.
