"Mrs. Edwards Dies"
Mrs. Myrtle Lillian Edwards, 33, of Copper Hill, wife of S.B. Edwards, passed away at her home Saturday night following a lingering illness since last November.
The deceased had been a resident of the district for the past 14 years, coming to Globe at the time of her marriage, from Butte, Mont. Of her immediate family, besides her husband, S.B. Edwards, six children are left to mourn her loss. Mrs. Will Langdon of Copper Hill is an aunt of Mrs. Edwards.
Mrs. Edwards has been a sufferer for some time and last winter was taken to Phoenix for treatment, but was returned to her home at Copper Hill upon the advice of physicians who stated that her death would be a matter of but a few weeks.
The funeral is being held this afternoon from the Jones undertaking parlors at Globe, Rev. Fred J. Hart, of the First Presbyterian church, officiating.
