MRS. ARCH JACKON, MACON, DIES AT 57

Mrs. Stella S. Jackson, 57, of Macon, died at 4 a. m. yesterday in St. Mary’s Hospital.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Christian County Aug. 11, 1896, a daughter of John and Agnes Clark Crouch. She was married to Arch L. Jackson in 1919.

She lived most of her life in the Macon and Moweaqua vicinities and 17 years in Peoria where she was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

Mrs. Jackson leaves her husband; her father, seven daughters, Miss Mary Jackson, Mrs. Helen Feury, both of Macon, Mrs. Verla Culbertson, Mrs. Alta Jane Virden, Mrs. Margaret Fritz, and Mrs. Frances Pamson, all of Peoria, and Betty, at home; and two sons , Clayton, Peoria, and Merle, at home. She also leaves 10 grandchildren.

The body is in the Ater Memorial Home, Macon, where friends may call after 6 p. m. today.

Funeral services will be 2 p. m. tomorrow in the funeral home. Burial will be in Hall Cemetery, near blue mound.
