TABIONA, Duchesne County - Jessup W. (Jep) Thomas, 81, died Sunday in a Salt Lake hospital of natural causes.
Born Oct. 6, 1878, Center Creek, Wasatch County, to Joseph and Margaret Watson. Married Eunice S. Lindsay Oct. 26, 1899, Heber, Wasatch county. She died Feb 8, 1919. Married Irene Cope Dec. 21, 1921, Duchesne. Marriage later solemnized Salt Lake Temple, church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Retired sheep rancher. Member, LDS Church.
Survivors; widow, son, daughters, Royal, Mrs. N. F. (Alta) Hicken, Mrs. Otto (Ora) Johnsen, Mrs. Earl (Irene) Griffiths, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Earl (Ina) Van Tassell, Mrs. Dale (Linda) Gines, Tabiona; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Wednesday noon, Tabiona LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Tuesday, 7-9- p.m. Olpin Mortuary, Heber, Wednesday prior at the chapel. Burial Heber City Cemetery.
