LAWRENCE JOSEPH BARRETT
Lawrence Joseph Barrett, age 77, of 527 North 1200 West, Salt Lake City, Utah, died September 13, 1976, of a heart attack.
Born November 28, 1896 in Wellington, Kansas, a son of John Joseph and Blanch Smith Barrett. Married Wiora (sp?) Stoney November 5, 1945, in Salt Lake City. Member of the Catholic Church. Veteran of World War I and World War II. Past Commander Argonne no. 2, Disabled American Veterans, retired from Hill Air Force Base, after 28 years. Previously with Addressograph-Multigram Corporation, 18 years of service. Member of NARCO. Volunteer at the VA Hospital with over 10,000 hours.
Survivors: widow; son, Lawrence Charles Barrett, Shirley Basin, Wyoming; brother and sisters, John T. Barrett; Mrs. Earl (Mildred) Cooper, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Merwin (Margaret) Howes, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Madelaine. Holy Rosary will be conducted at Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, Tuesday 7:30 p.m. Burial Redwood Memorial.
