Mr. Behringer was born 10 Jan 1909 in Riesel to William C. & Mary Elizabeth Cauthern (sic-Cauthen) Behringer. He was married to Bertha Harwell, who died 23 Jan 1975. He then married Dorothy Copeland Diskell on 17 Feb 1985. He retired after many years as a building contractor, farmer & rancher in McLennan Co. After retirement, he worked for the City of Waco for 5 yrs. in the building inspection department. Mr. Behringer was a member of Lake Shore Church of Christ, Herring Masonic Lodge No. 1224 & Karem Shrine of Waco. He was preceded in death by 3bros: E. W. (Buddy), Edwin & Fred Behringer; 2sis: Mary Behringer Mullins & Minnie Behringer Wallace. Survivors: Wife, Dorothy Driskell Behringer-Waco; 3 stepdaus: Virginia Swanson, Debbie Kincer & Nancy Atwell, all of Waco; 2bros: Jesse G. Behringer-Waco & Herbert H. Behringer-China Spring; 3 nephews: Don Behringer, Randy Behringer & Bill Behringer, all of Waco; other nieces & nephews; 5 step-gch & 4 great-step-gch.
