COLLINS, CORUM EDWARD, (PAPAW) - age 85 of Knoxville, TN, formerly New Tazewell, TN, was born October 24, 1920 and went to be with Our Lord on April 20, 2006. He was of the Baptist faith, a Veteran of World War II. The Merry-Go-Round Man for Kerns Bakery for 33 years. He loved people and everyone who knew him loved him. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Johnnie and Emma Collins step-mother, Viola Collins sister, Lee Eddie Bunch wife of 44 years, Jewel Johnson Collins daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Jimmy Keck. He is survived by: his daughter & son-in-law, Robin and Bill Delph sons: Roy & Johnny Collins 10 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren 2 great great grandsons sisters, Bonnie Shipley and Carlene Lay special friends, Merle, Lynn, Uncle Tom, Mitch, Phil & Pat. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Friday night and 6 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday night with funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. Saturday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Collins Cemetery in Claiborne County with Military Honors at 2:00 p.m. Sunday April 23, 2006, Coffey Funeral Home in charge.
