RAWLINGS,MARYLAND -- Albert Donald Fazenbaker Sr., 86, of McMullen Highway, Rawlings, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at his residence.

Born on Oct. 18, 1921, at Westernport, he was a son of the late Albert Sherman and Rebecca Irene (Stuby) Fazenbaker. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Pearl (Roy) Fazenbaker on Aug. 19, 1999; a brother, Alvin Fazenbaker Sr.; and a grandson, George R. Rosskamp Jr.

Mr. Fazenbaker was the self-employed owner and operator of Fazenbaker Electric in Rawlings. He was Lutheran by faith and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was also a member of Nancy Hanks Post 3518, V.F.W., Keyser, and Victory Post 155, American Legion, Westernport.

Surviving are one son, Albert Donald Fazenbaker Jr. of Keyser, W.Va.; three daughters, Linda Carol Rosskamp and husband George of Rawlings, Donna Lou Ellifritz and husband Kipp and Christine Lynn Spurling and husband Mike, all of Keyser; one brother, William Fazenbaker of Westernport; one sister, Leanelda Farris, a resident of the Moran Manor Nursing Home, Westernport; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Eisenhour officiating.

Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone. Military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veteran's Honor Guard.
