Clara Halvorson 93 rural Bagley passed away on Thursday, July 10 at her home in Popple Township. Mrs. Halvorson was born August 19, 1886 at Gary, Minnesota to parents Ole and Mary Ysen. She came to Clearwater County in 1889. She was united in marriage to Asle Halvorson in 1901 at Bagley. He passed away in 1954.
Survivors include a daughter, Millie Neill of Bagley; two sons, Clarence of Bagley, Melvin of Minneapolis; a sister, Thea Anderson of Bagley; one brother, Selmer Ysen of Bagley; 12 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter Hazel and two brothers.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 14 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church rural Bagley with Pastor George Thompson officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery with the Cease Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
