She married Edward Geach in 1939. They moved to Hurley, Wis., and had three daughters, Jacklyn, Barbara, and Diane.
In Hurley, Elizabeth was a member of St. Mary's Parish and the Home and School Association.
In 1954, they were transferred to Escanaba. In 1961, they moved to Green Bay, where she was a member of Resurrection Parish. In 2006, she moved to Waunakee to be closer to her family.
Betty was a homemaker par excellence. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed playing cards and visiting the casino.
Edward preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 1999.
She was also preceded by her parents, John and Anna Bauer;
her brothers: Frank and Alphonse;
her sisters: Alice Penn and Irene DeMichele.
She is survived by her daughters: Barbara Geach, DeForest, Wis., Diane (Gary) Gotzion of Lake Windsor, Wis., and Jacklyn (Joseph) McCormack of Grafton, Wis;
six grandchildren: Joseph (Nichole) McCormack, Lisa Bettner, Toni Norwich, Susan (Jim) Ruzecki, Timothy (Kim) Gotzion, and Timothy (Beth) McCormack.
She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and other relatives.
