Frank O. Wiggins, age 58 of Lewellen, formerly of Hemingford, died late Monday evening, September 25, 2000, at the Garden County Hospital.

Funeral services were Friday. September 29, 2000, at the United Methodist Church in Oshkosh, with the Rev. Jerry Mercer officiating. A Memorial has been established to the Lewellen Rescue Unit. Holechek Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Frank was born November 27, 1941, in Alliance, to Otis and Celia (Day) Wiggins. He graduated from Broadwater High School in 1959. On October 2, he was married to Lairie Cranmore at Broadwater. They farmed at Broadwater before moving to Bassett in 1960. In 1970 they moved to Hemingford, where they farmed and operated a feed yard. He retired and moved to Lake McConaughy in 2000.

He is survived by wife Lairie, two daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Kent Prochazka of Ft. Collins, and Tammy and Nick Dannar of Hemingford. Three grandchildren, Brandi, Kassi, and Cody Prochazka, sisters, Joy Kruse of Lincoln, Rose Curless of Kimball, Gail DeBoer of El Paso, Texas; a brother Ralph Wiggins of San Francisco; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
