William H. Beabout was born in Clark County, Oct. 7, 1847, and departed this life June 4, 1908, on the York farm northwest of Robinson, after eight months of intense suffering from stomach trouble. He bore his suffering patiently and often spoke of dying. He was united in marriage to Miss Sarah Gilbert, April 5, 1866. To this union were born ten children, three having preceded their father to the brighter realm, where there is neither suffering nor death. He gave himself to the Savior in youth. He leaves a loving wife, seven children, three brothers, and a host of friends to mourn his death.

With eyes filled with tears we look to Him who doeth all things well and say "Thy will be done."
