MURPHY - Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at the Church of God at Shooting Creek for Mrs. Addie Davenport, 54, who died at her home in the Shooting Creek section of Clay county Thursday following an illness of 10 days.
The Rev. Leonard Price and the Rev. L. P. Davenport officiated. Burial was in Mission Hill Baptist cemetery.
Surviving are the husband, Harvey Davenport; three sons, Verlin, Fred, and Robert, and three daughters, Mrs. Ida Wykle, Mrs. Nettie Wykle, and Mrs. Albert Beasley, all of Shooting Creek. Townson funeral home had charge of arrangements.
