Elizaville Man Dies on Saturday

The death of Norman Stall, 91, aged resident of the Elizaville section, occurred at his home here Saturday following an illness of about a year. He was born near Livingston, the son of the late Jacob M and Jane Decker Stall. He was an honorary member of Widow's Son lodge F & AM, of Livingston and a member of the Elizaville M. E, church, as well as an officer or the Sunday school. He was a charter and honorary member of Jackson Corners Grange.

He is survived by a son, Chester of Elizaville; a daughter, Mrs Jennie Hapeman of Elizaville; two grandchildren, Chester Hapeman and Mrs Earl Sherman, and a brother, Frank, of Ashly Falls, Mass.

The funeral was held on Monday with prayers at the house and then from the Elizaville ME church. He was buried in the family plot beside his wife, who was Ada Kipp and died several years ago The Masonic Jodge attended the rites in a body.

Mr Stall had operated a farm at Elizaville for many years, retiring about ten years ago and spending considerable time at Upper Twin Lake.
