Robert L. Fair Sr., 68, of Short Pump, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Annie Barker Fair; a daughter, Kimberly Cole; sons, Robert Jr. and Bert "B.W." Fair (Lisa); a brother, William Fair; sisters, Bonnie Moses, Fern King, and Katherine White; loving grandchildren, Marian, Katie, Wanda and Derek Fair and K.C. Cole; also a host of nieces, nephews and other kin. Robert was a singer and bass player for over 40 years with the Barker Family Band. He owned and operated United Brake Service until his untimely death. Funeral services will be held at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 1 p.m, Saturday, October 22 (today) with interment to follow in the church cemetery. For 20 years, Robert has supported the mentally challenged and so in lieu of flowers, please honor his memory with donations to Camp Rainbow, c/o St. Matthews UMC, 1706 St. Matthews Ln., Richmond, Va. 23233
