Daniel J. Wyant, 92, of 1325 Burrell Ave., New Kensington, died Sunday in Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington. Born May 24 1893, in East Franklin Township, he was a son of Addison and Mary (Lasher) Wyant. He lived in the New Kensington area since 1924. He was retired from the Machine shop at the Railway Maintenance Corp of Aspinwall in March 1960. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of New Kensington, and a former deacon of Parnassus Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn (Richey) Wyant, and one sister, Mrs. Robert (Nellie) Santrock of New Philadelphia, Ohio. He was preceded in death by an infant son, five sisters and two brothers. WYANT - Friends of Daniel J. Wyant, 92, of 1325 Burrell Ave., New Kensington, who died Sunday, May 18, 1986, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Richard G. Churchfield Funeral Home, 501 Fifth Ave New Kensington, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday with his pastor, Rev. Mark H. Landfried, officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Park, East Franklin Township.
