Obituary-Enid M. Preston, 83, Forest Park Healthcare Center, died at 10:05 p.m. Wednesday, January 1, 1986, in the healthcare facility.

She was born July 5, 1902, in Sharpsville, the daughter of John Madison and Stella (Scott) Grishaw. In January 1919, she married Harry M. Smith, who died in June 1949. In June 1951 she married Walter Preston, who died in April 1975.

Surviving are a son, Carlyle S. Smith of Kokomo; four stepsons, Gene and Walter Preston, Jr., both of Florida, Richard and Robert Preston, both of Kokomo; a stepdaughter, Jacqueline Watkins of Wilmington, N.C.; five grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ellers Mortuary. The Rev. Oliver B. Thomas will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
