Mrs. Rosemary Hancock, 25, 1802 North Courtland avenue, has been advised by the War department that her husband, Technician Fifth Grade Charles F. Hancock, above, son of Mrs. Katie Nash, 1512 South 17th street, was killed in action on May 3, 1945.
Technician Hancock enlisted in the army in November 1942 and had been overseas since last November, serving with the field artillery of the Seventh army.
Surviving besides the wife and mother is one daughter, Saundra Sue, three years old, four sisters and six brothers, two of whom are serving in the armed forces.
