Dorothy Mae Hiatt, 81, 1901 S. Goyer Road, died at 3:15 p.m. on March 15, 1995 at Howard Community Hospital.
She was born May 30, 1913, in New Castle, a daughter of Jesse W. and Myrtle O. (Risinger) Cable. In 1935, she married Stanley Allen who died in 1952. In 1956, she married Lynn Rapp who died in 1968. In 1972, she married Kenneth Hiatt who died in 1991.
She was a sales representative for Avon, a member of the Order of Eastern Star, P.E.O., and Allisonville Christian Church in Indianapolis.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, James S. and Karen Allen of Bennetts Switch; and Daryll V. and Linda Allen of Greentown; one stepdaughter and son-in-law, Judy and Don Born of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Lora Lynn Wagner of Carol Stream, Illinois, Stanley J. Allen of Parker, Colorado, Gregory Allen of Terre Haute, and Jeffrey Allen of Greentown; two stepgrandchildren, Kenneth Born of California, and David Born of Indianapolis; four great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Becca Wagner, both of Carol Stream, Illinois, and Jordan and Mika Allen, both of Terre Haute; two half sisters, Charlene McCorkle of Illinois, and Christine Silvers of Muncie. She was preceded in death by one brother, Marion Cable, and one aunt, Ruth Risinger.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Riester will officiate. No visitation is planned. Ellers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
