Joyce B. Chandler: Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at New Sight Baptist Church for Joyce Bachman Chandler, 66, of Brookhaven, who died April 14, 2008 at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Chandler was retired from Pansy's Greenhouse. She was a member of New Sight Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dale E. Bachman; her parents, Curtis L. Davis Sr. and Addie Cotten Davis, and a brother, Gary G. Davis. Survivors include her husband, Billy Ray Chandler; a son, Jeffery D. Bachman of Wesson; two daughters, Linda Owens of Hattiesburg and Shari Crosby of Bogue Chitto; three brothers, Curtis L. Davis Jr and James Davis, both of Wesson and Michael Davis of Huntsville, Ala.; two sisters, Roena Foster of Brookhaven and Cathy Fuller of Wesson; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-9 pm today at the church. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
