Mrs.Pearl E.Smedley,66,Galloway area,Franklin,former employe of Bears Drive In in Sugarcreek,died Saturday in Franklin Hosp.She was born in Knox,June 5,1906,dau.of James A.and Elizabeth Alt Mays.Member of the Rocky Grove Ave.Presbyterian Church and the Philthea Class of the church.
She is survived by a dau.,Mrs.Roy(Willavene)Dunkle,Jr. ,Franklin with whom she made her home for two yrs.,son,Leonard T.Bell,Franklin,four grandchildren and a great grandchild;two brothers,Rell and James Mays,Clarion,and a sister,Mrs.C.A.(Ina)Bell,Knox.Deceased are a grandson,Rodney Bell,a brother,Walter Mays,and a sister,Mrs.Ivy Myers.Rev.John Thomas,pastor of the Rocky Grove Ave.Presbyterian Church,will officiate.
