Last rites will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Foster & Good funeral home for Surphes MILLISER, 80, R.R. 6, Rochester, who died at 3 p.m. Monday in Woodlawn hospital. The Rev. Edward MILLER will officiate and burial will be in [Moon] cemetery west of the city. Friends may call at the funeral home. Mr. Milliser, who had been in ill health two months, was a retired farmer and onetime employee of the former Rochester bridge factory. He was born Oct. 17, 1886, in the Burton community, the son of Silas and Jane BISCHER MILLISER. His entire life had been spent in Fulton county. His marriage was June 30, 1907, at Bruce Lake, to Cora Bell BRUCE, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. L. B. (Violet) VANATA, Argos, and Mrs. Ray (Irene) SUTHERLAND, Indianapolis; two sons, Hurschel and Dale [MILLISER], both of Rochester; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and three sisters, Mrs Lester (Ruth) CRABILL and Mrs. Elizabeth WOODCOX, both of Rochester, and Mrs. Esther WOLF, San Diego, Cal. Two sons, two sisters and two brothers preceded in death.
